Our Origins
ZeroTech Optics is a precision optics company founded in 2018 in Australia. It emerged from a third-generation optical manufacturing and distribution family, with origins tracing back to James Watkins, who enlisted in the U.S. Army at 18 following the bombing of Pearl Harbor. After serving in the Pacific theater, James moved to Australia and established TSA Outdoors, the largest precision optical instrument supplier in the Southern Hemisphere. In 2018, TSA founded ZeroTech Optics to address the gap in high-quality, accessible optical equipment.
ZeroTech Optics designs and manufactures its products in-house, ensuring they meet rigorous Australian quality standards. The company has expanded globally, offering a range of binoculars, red dot sights, and accessories tailored for hunters, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The company is headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, USA, with a global presence and partnerships to support its international distribution network.
